Keramoplast is a unique combination of strength and elasticity
What are the similarities between the German tank Leopard 2, the US space shuttle “Discovery” and domestic roofing material “Keramoplast”?
Ceramics and Composites
Ceramics is included in the composite structure of the modern tank armor, thermal shuttle and “Keramoplast” roofing sheets.
Composite, in its turn, shows a principle of purposeful combination of the best qualities of different materials into a single whole.
Keramoplast is an amazing roofing material, which encompasses centuries-old experience of mankind in the protection of their property from bad weather using innovative materials of the XXI century.
Due to the unique production technology, we have managed to combine the best qualities of traditional roof tiles and modern polymers in Keramoplast.
Keramoplast is the strength and durability of the roofing combined with the ease, elasticity and flexibility of polymers.
Unlike other roofing materials, Keramoplast contains not a single hazardous ingredient: either bitumen, or asbestos, or phenols.
It contains elements, which are absolutely safe for a human: mineral dye, polymeric and ceramic components.
The final structure of Keramoplast is formed exposing it to high temperature, and aging at high pressure.
It is the same way that nature works, creating the most durable material in the universe – a diamond.
Keramoplast means a very resistant roof
It will withstand any amount of snow, even if wet snow freezes into a heavy lump on the roof. However, it is unlikely to happen with Keramoplast: ice does not freeze to it.
Our roofing material has a unique mechanical resistance. It remains unaffected by long alternating loads, sudden gusts of wind and even bombardment with hail the size of a chicken egg.
On June 20-21, in Kalush district (Ivano-Frankivsk region) such hail severely beat rooftops: as calculated by the local district administration, not less 10 thousand roofing sheets.
Even the old-timers do not remember such a large hail: it has left holes in roofs the size of a fist. Not only slate, but also imported roofing materials did not manage to withstand the onslaught of bad weather.
Hail and strong wind tore the metal roofing like paper. Huge hailstones pierced euro-slate sheets.
For example, hail damaged 16 roofs in Mostyshche village. Only 2 roofs in this village remained without a scratch. These roofs are covered with Keramoplast roofing material (read more about this here) .
And this is only the beginning. Many have no idea what the Lord and weather prepares for us in the coming 5-10 years: wind speed of 100-250 km/h, hail weighing 400 grams, etc. etc. This is the price of the global warming.
Unlike other roofing materials, hidden resistance and power of Keramoplast are able to withstand any climatic cataclysm of global warming.
Keramoplast is a durable roofing material
Its unique composition will provide protection to the roof for 50 years.
As shown by the experts’ tests, our roof can serve over 100 winter-summer seasons.
Keramoplast is chemically resistant to aggressive media (conditions)
This is the only roofing material that meets the most rigid requirements of the technologists of metallurgical and by-product coke plants.
They change the roofing shells of cooling towers every 3-5 years, which are being destroyed by a mixture of hydrochloric, sulfuric, and other acids in industrial process water and its evaporations. Asbestos-containing slate stands about 5 years in such an aggressive environment, metal tile roofing – 3 years at most.
When steelmakers of the eastern Ukraine covered cooling towers with Keramoplast, they hoped that the roofing material will last 5-6 years.
As a matter of actual practice, Keramoplast protects cooling towers for more than 12 years.
Keramoplast defies both acid and alkali.
Keramoplast will keep your home quiet.
It will protect the house from the excessive noise of rain and hail. What sounds like a deafening drumbeat under metal sheets, sounds like rustling lulling music of nature in houses under the roof made of Keramoplast.
Keramoplast is a good thermal insulator. It will help save coolness in the heat, and heat – in the frost
Because of the special resistance to temperature changes, Keramoplast can be used in different climatic zones: from -60° C to +90° C.
Keramoplast perfectly protects the house against uncomfortable temperature outside. It does not require such serious thermal insulation as other roofing materials.
This means that you will save money 3 times: when purchasing insulation; in summer – for energy consumption: less people will use air conditioning; in winter – for heating: less people will use gas or electricity.
Keramoplast is an easy-to-install roofing material
Our material is quite easy-to-use in roofing works.
Keramoplast is cut with any tool, easily shaped and mounted.
Keramoplast does not need a strong load carrying structure and strong walls, compared to requirements of ceramic tiles. You can considerably save money on this.
Where applicable, Keramoplast can be given the desired shape. This is a strong plus in favor of the installation of complex roofs: Keramoplast can be given the desired shape – for this, you only need to heat bending point with gas burner and let the roof sheet cool. That is all.
If you have skilled hands, you can save on paying for roofing work.
The installation of Keramoplast is not a big deal.
You can see the way it is done in the installation instructions of our roofing material both in video and text options. If necessary, you can also print it out.
Keramoplast is a universal roofing material
Keramoplast is a perfect solution for projects of any complexity: from minor repairs of the roof and the porch of the estate, to complex design project of a large cottage roof or covering of huge warehouses and hangars with roofing materials.
It is used for all types of roofs: single-pitched, double pitch, gable or hipped, multigabled, pyramidal broach, and mansard roofs.
Our roofing material can be mounted even on almost flat roofs with a slope of 5-10 degrees. The only condition is the following: if the angle of slope is less than 10 degrees, the roof sheathing has to be almost continuous and sheet overlaps should be treated with a sealant. And do not skimp on the roofing nails or screws.
You can use our roofing material not only for roofs: Keramoplast is also used to build walls, fences and hedges.
Keramoplast is the only self-recovering roofing material
It just needs a little help. It is not difficult. Mechanical damage (scratches) on sheets, wind boards, and ridges disappear if you quickly burn them with a flame of a gas burner or a blow torch.
“Wounds” heal right before our eyes. Just a few minutes, and Keramoplast sheets shine – look as good as new.
Is it fantastic? No. It is “Keramoplast”TM

12 MAIN ADVANTAGES OF KERAMOPLAST
IN THE MARKET OF ROOFING MATERIALS
GREAT. It is among the best roofing material based on the set of consumer properties.
ENVIRONMENTAL. This is an eco-friendly roofing material. It does not contain asbestos, bitumen, phenols, and other carcinogenic substances.
FADING-RESISTANT. It is resistant to fading and discolorment for more than 50 years. It is painted throughout the thickness of the sheet by the best light-resistant mineral dyes.
ECONOMICAL. Due to the low thermal conductivity of the sheet, there is no condensation from the attic side. This eliminates the need to install the underlay materials and the installation of the roof saves $ 1.5-2 on each square meter compared to tiles, Onduline, metal tiles, metal sheets, copper tiles and any metal roofing sheets.
RESISTANT. It is resistant to heavy gusts of wind and long-term alternating loads.
HEAT-RESISTANT. It is resistant to temperature changes. The operating range is from -60°C to +90°C.
COMFORTABLE. It has excellent heat and sound insulation.
EASY-TO-MOUNT. It is easily mounted with help of tools and drills.
DURABLE. It is not afraid of scratches, cuts and abrasion during its service.
CHEMICALLY STABLE. It is resistant to diluted solutions of acids and alkalis and limited concentrations of salt solutions.
TRANSPORTABLE. It is convenient in transportation, loading, and unloading. 100-140 roofing sheets are laid on pallets. (Weight of 1 sheet varies depending on type from 9,5 till 14,2 kg).
EASILY DISMANTLED. According to EU standards, it is one of the preferred materials for the utilization and subsequent disposal of roofing materials.
